I did a quick walk thru today to get the feeling of each room.

Very happy with the sizes so far. The 2740mm ceiling height give the room bigger feeling, very worth it to upgrade it...:)

First floor frames are up...mostly...

Yippee...I haven't been this excited since the build started...the 1st floor frames are up today...so happy to watch the progress....:)

Frames are delivered!!

I didn't expect any changes today when I passed the site.

So happy that the frames has been delivered today, surprise...surprise...

The bricks that wasn't supposed to be delivered has taken up so much space that the frames must be laid on the slab.... hhhmmm....

The tank has gone inside the ground....

This afternoon, I checked the site and missed out the action...the rainwater tank has been buried in the ground.....ooh....

Well, a bit of relief, but also worried because our slab looks sooo messy, lots of broken pipes around and the land's soil are all over the place...we'll need some serious landscaper to fix this....

Oh one more thing, one side at the back of the slab was crushed by the excavator last week, do you think it's ok or should I complain about it?

No action for the last 3 days...

Yes, very dissapointing, the watertank just sitting there, no progress at all beside a very messy site and crack edge slab, also 2 pipes are broken....

In the meantime, we have been busy this weekend, looking for some quotes and ideas for our home theater.

We have asked Head office to do the installation/cabling by Sydney Hi-Fi.

Hopefully they will say OK tomorrow.

Lonely watertank...

I visited the site today and there's no one there..

The weather was cool and rain not long after, maybe that's the cause....

Anyway, I took picture for our lonely watertank...and the messy site...

Digging underground rainwater tank

Today's was the big day!

They are going to install underground water tank, the external plumbing and someone from Fair Trading will come to inspect the site.

We arrived 8am to see the SS and he was pretty good explaning everything that will happen today.

He is also flexible adjusting to our need. He check out first what we want to do with our backyard & landscape.

After we explained it, he said he's going to help us by taking most of the dirt out and flatenning the leftover dirt to the backyard so we can just put retaining wall after handover. Our land is sloping to the back and to gogo's house, we want to have a flat backyard for the kids to running around.

I came back again 2x today and they still haven't finished the job. Apparently the backyard's soil was sinking when the crane went in to install the tank. The land was dug this morning for the external pipes.

Well, no wonder....The tank is soooo huge!!

The guy who dug said they'll come back again because they need a bigger crane to put it inside the ground.

I wish I chose the above rainwater tank....this underground tank has caused me so much trouble and delayed....:(

Meeting new neighbour & our SS !

What can I say, this afternoon was very exciting to fnd 2 of my new neighbours who happened to visit their sites.

Hi shutterman, if you read my blog, and good luck to B who's going to sell his house first....

Hope you guys will move in soon...that street is still too quiet....:) need more neighbours... ha..ha..

Then not long, our SS came to visit unexpectedly.

I met Shane for the first time, not much smile, straightforward guy. but he's good, he called previously to let me know that our underground rainwater tank on the plan is so steep, so he asked me & my husband to come tomorrow to talk about our landscaping plan, which I have no idea....

I should do more research about it .....

Looks like we'll need lots of retaining walls around the block, because we want the backyard flat.

In the meantime, Boral has delivered the bricks already today, which the SS didn't want it, it's too early , so he will ask Boral to pick it up again tomorrow...:(

We got Slab!!

In a wet Saturday morning, we got a surprise call from our neighbour, gogo, that we got slab !!

(Thanks, gogo!)

OMG! OMG! YAY...but also : How come??!!

Last night was raining and it's still raining now, although light, and no one called me from Wisdom homes that the slab is being poured today!

Well, I expect that we can videotape the whole process on Monday morning.....so I missed it...

Never mind, as long as their engineer can certify that it's ok to pour slab during this wet weather, then I'll be fine.

I still rang the SS straight away and he assured me that it's even better if they can pour the slab today.

The rain will help to cure the slab , rather than having a hot weather which apparently will easily crack the slab.

Unfortunately it was too wet and muddy, so we can't walk on the slab today and write our names there....:(

So glad to found 3 guys were working on the waffle pods this morning...

By 3.30pm, they still haven't finished, wow, I feel sorry because today the weather was so hot, like 32 degree...

My SS called this morning with a great news, if weather permits, they will pour the slab on Monday morning. YAY!!

Can't wait for that historic moment!

Another progress today with plumbing pipes done and I saw they have delivered the waffle pods.

Looks like next week weather forecast won't be good....possible showers Monday to Wednesday....:(

Woohoo...Piering done today!

I woke up earlier today and went to the site to check.

3 men were working on the land, measuring , marking area that's gonna be drilled.

Then they started to drill, when suddenly the cable was broken and the machine stopped.

Well, I can't stay too long, so I will check it again this afternoon.

This afternoon 3pm, the piering has finished! Wow....so I took some photos as attached.

The slab looks smaller than we imagined.

Thanks, Wisdom homes, you've done what you've promised yesterday.

Great news!! Piering finally tomorrow...

After having a long talk with Wsdm construction manager today, the SS called this arvo to let me know that piering has been booked for tomorrow....Wow!!

So tomorrow, we will wake up earlier and take the kids to see the work starts.

At this stage, it's starting to get excited.... Hopefully we don't get charge any extra piering.

Weather has been great for the last 4 days & looks like will be sunny for the next 5 days...:)

Nothing....

Nothing's happen this week

..........because of Wed & Thursday rains!! :(

2 days rains which equal to 1 month rain....

I feel sorry for the areas that's flooding....losing their cars, houses, etc....

Good news is, from today until next Friday will be sunny blue sky...:)

So I wish Monday they can start the work...

Rain...& rain....

Well, it's already 4 days since my SS called me & since it rains & rains everyday day, there's nothing that they can do....:(

Just hoping that next week the weather will be kind to us, really itching to see something happens....
