A call in the afternoon...

Yaay!! Got a call this afternoon from my SS (site supervisor), he said if weather ok, we'll get slab by next week!!

Great news indeed...:)

Now just hoping the weather is kind to us....

The top photo are tiles for my sons's ensuite bathrooms.

The bottom one is for our Master Bathrooms, Powder room and Common Bathroom upstairs...

We tried to be neutral and hope these colors will last long in style..:)

Site Scrape...& internal door

Finally it happened!!

We found out on Monday that the site scrape happened, so excited!!

But then nothing for almost 4 days now...

Hopefully there will be some action next week...

Oh, btw, Wisdom sent me email that the internal doors that we requested and paid (Denmark) won't be available in 2340mm size, so we need to reselect the internal door again.

So they've given us Sorrento door range to choose with NO additional cost!

( Sorrento range is actually too modern for us...we worries that it won't last long in style).

But we finally can chose a door that we both agreed, which is SOR11.

Port a loo...yay!!

Good news today, hubby just saw that we got a portaloo , which I don't know when it came, probably Saturday... Happy but also worry because we found out that 2 of our red peg have gone missing... Don't know what's gonna happen ...do you think we are responsible for that? The red pegs have been there for 3 months now... We couldn't watch them 24/7 of course.... Anyone can give some feedback from your experience? Thanks....

Good to tell you all that finally all our paperwork has been signed off and now waiting for the site supervisor to contact me regarding slab date!!

The weather is better an better, still patchy rains but not long and rather warmer now.

Well, this summer has been the wettest ever ...

14 February is my son's 9th birthday and we are so grateful for him in our life!

It's also the mark of the new journey with Wisdom homes.

Thanks to B from Wisdom admin who has helped us along the way, responded to our emails promptly.

Now hoping that we'll get one of their best supervisor...:)

Waiting for Final sign off

We are still waiting for the final sign off, which according Wsdm will be next Monday 13 Feb'12.

Then fingers crossed, excavation can start within 2 weeks after that, pending on weather...

Rain. Rain.. Go away....

So exciting, finally, after more than 2.5 yrs waiting....

Checking Building Contract

After almost 3 months, we haven't started yet, mainly because we lost 1 month to Christmas/New Year, then about 1 month to relocate the underground rainwatertank, then all those tiles/carpet drama, then now waiting for the final sign off.

I've been checking today of my building contract, it said :

Commencing the Building Works

- The builder is to commence the building works within 20 working days after the day that :

a. The builder receives all necessary building permits 7 planning approvals for the building works to commence

b. The owner satisfies all of the requirements of clause 4.

Well, I have got my CC and everything's else last month, so they should start the excavation soon...

The House Plans

With the help of my new Home 1 friend, Jo, I can finally upload these plans, as promised...:) thank you, Jo!!

Our facade called Grand Portico (modified slightly of course).

We added a garage, 2 windows, upgraded the cladding to all bricks (which cost so much..), that's why we couldn't afford to upgrade the bricks to the smooth face.

Luckily, we found a new range from Boral bricks that close to what we wanted. So, quite happy with our choice of Grays Point bricks.
